De supermarkt verhuisd tijdelijk naar de voormalige Aupingfabriek aan de Laan van Borgele.
De supermarkt op het Karel de Groteplein wordt drastisch verbouwd. Het gehele winkelcentrum wordt vernieuwd. Het deel waarin de Lidl is gevestigd wordt compleet vernieuwd. Dit is de reden waarom de Lidl zolang afwezig is op het plein.
Vanaf donderdag kunnen klanten terecht in de voormalige Aupingfabriek.
De Lidl is bereikbaar via de linkerzijde van het pand, aan de zijde van de Karwei.
